Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Senior Logistics Manager for our Supply Chain Solutions division. This role is remote, with a $75-85k salary and comprehensive benefits. You will lead the distribution center and coordinate with customers, while driving continuous improvement across teams.

Responsible for strategic planning, safety, and P&L depending on scope, you will manage staff and maintain strong customer relations in a Fortune 500 environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
• Five or more years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related field.
• Five or more years of experience in managing, leading and developing direct reports.
• Three or more years of Profit & Loss responsibility preferred.
• Customer interaction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface directly with the customer to ensure issues are resolved promptly and satisfaction remains high.
• Strategic operational planning and execution for the operation.
• Identify and solve operational issues with LEAN and continuous improvement to boost productivity.
• Hire, supervise, develop and manage performance for employees.
• Maintain open and effective communications within and across work groups.
• May manage profit and loss statements based on scope and complexity.
• Lead a proactive safety program and ensure equipment maintenance.
