Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Senior Logistics Manager for its Supply Chain Solutions division. The role offers remote work with a salary range of $75,000 to $85,000 plus benefits and PTO. The incumbent will lead a distribution center, coordinate with customers, and drive LEAN initiatives across multiple teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in logistics, strong data analysis, and experience managing teams and P&L. Benefits include health plans, 401(k) with match, and paid leave.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related field.
• Five+ years of managing, leading, and developing direct reports.
• Three+ years Profit & Loss responsibility preferred.
• One+ year of customer interaction preferred.
• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in related field.

Responsibilities

• Interface directly with the customer to resolve issues and maintain satisfaction.
• Strategic operational planning and execution for the operation.
• Identify and solve issues using continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives.
• Hire, supervise, develop and manage performance of employees.
• Maintain open communications within teams and across groups.
• May manage P&L depending on scope.
• Lead a safety program and oversee equipment maintenance.
