Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Lead Technical Program Manager to join the Network Architecture and Engineering organization. Lead complex programs that strengthen network security, modernize infrastructure, and advance engineering excellence across the enterprise.

You will translate sophisticated technical challenges into executable programs, requiring broad network fluency and strong program leadership, with the ability to organize work into coordinated projects that deliver measurable outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible program management experience in complex technical, network, engineering, infrastructure, or transformation initiatives.
• Broad understanding of telecommunications networks, including hardware, software, lifecycle management, and operations.
• Experience translating ambiguous objectives into executable plans, coordinated workstreams, governance, and measurable outcomes.
• Ability to work credibly across Architecture, Engineering, Planning, Operations, Security, IT, Product, Finance, and executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-impact network programs from definition through implementation, stabilization, and handoff.
• Create integrated execution frameworks when scope or ownership is unclear.
• Coordinate multiple programs with enterprise dependencies, risks, and senior leadership visibility.
• Establish governance, decision rights, operating rhythms, and executive review processes.
• Drive cross-domain sequencing and readiness across architecture, design, build, test, and operations.
• Identify systemic constraints and dependencies at portfolio level.
• Anticipate strategic, technical, operational, financial, vendor, and organizational risks.
• Mentor project and program managers to improve delivery discipline and governance.
• Champion scalable AI-enabled workflows that improve portfolio governance and productivity.
