Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Lead Technical Program Manager to join the Network Architecture and Engineering organization. You will lead complex programs that strengthen network security, modernize infrastructure, manage lifecycles, and advance engineering excellence across the enterprise.

In this role, you will translate sophisticated technical challenges into executable programs, working across Architecture, Engineering, Planning, Operations, and Security.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively responsible program management experience supporting complex technical, network, engineering, infrastructure, or transformation initiatives.
• Broad understanding of telecommunications networks, including hardware, software, lifecycle, and operations.
• Experience translating ambiguous objectives into executable plans with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-impact network programs from definition to implementation and handoff.
• Create integrated execution frameworks where scope or ownership is not defined.
• Coordinate multiple programs with enterprise dependencies and senior leadership visibility.
• Establish governance, decision rights, and executive review processes for initiatives.
• Drive cross-domain sequencing and readiness across architecture, design, build, test, and operations.
• Identify constraints and dependencies across workstreams and portfolios.
• Anticipate risks across technical, operational, vendor, and organizational areas.
• Mentor project managers and raise delivery discipline and governance standards.
• Promote scalable AI-enabled workflows to improve governance and productivity.
