Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Labor Compliance Specialist to lead the labor compliance program for nationwide solar, storage, and substation projects. You will oversee audits, coordinate investigations, and implement training across Operations and SI Departments.

This role may be remote or office-based with interview-based location specifics. You will monitor regulatory changes, share best practices including software, and ensure timely action on identified issues, while staying current on

Qualifications

• Seven years experience in the labor compliance in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of the laws surrounding labor.
• Familiarity with construction industry contract types and language, particularly as it relates to areas relevant to labor compliance.
• Ability to comprehend Government and other regulations and determine proper applicability to Company’s business.
• Current on industry issues related to labor compliance, and as they apply to the Industry.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• All Senior Labor Compliance Specialist responsibilities.
• Manage labor compliance group, which oversees labor compliance across the company.
• Coordinate and perform periodic internal audits of labor compliance procedures.
• Monitor and stay abreast of applicable laws and regulations that might affect labor compliance policies and procedures.
• Identify and share best control practices, including software, as it relates to labor compliance, and advise on needed changes.
• Manage the investigation of identified or reported compliance issues, determine appropriate action.
• Participate in external reviews, audits and inquiries with relevant departments and outside resources.
• Identify, develop and participate in needed training on labor compliance efforts.
• Attend external training and participate in industry related compliance organizations.
