Humana is seeking a Lead Kubernetes Architect to lead enterprise Kubernetes platforms, with a primary focus on AKS and GKE. You will define reference architectures, establish platform standards, and guide roadmap execution across Cloud Engineering, Security, SRE, and DevOps teams.

This hands-on leadership role combines strategic direction and practical implementation, mentoring engineers, enabling secure, scalable, automated delivery, and advancing the Cloud Platform strategy through GitOps,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software/platform engineering or cloud engineering.
• Experience architecting Kubernetes platforms (AKS, GKE, EKS).
• Hands-on cloud infra via CI/CD and IaC in Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Experience with Kubernetes lifecycle, upgrades, and Day 2 operations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Lead enterprise Kubernetes platforms across AKS and GKE from planning to production.
• Define reference architectures, standards, and reusable platform patterns.
• Develop a Kubernetes product maturity roadmap aligned to Cloud Platform strategy.
• Design multi-cluster, multi-region deployment and DR considerations.
• Drive IaC, GitOps, and CI/CD adoption for platform provisioning.
• Mentor engineers and lead architecture reviews.
• Identify AI/ML-driven enhancements for platform ops and cost optimization.
• Oversee capacity management and resource optimization.
