Humana seeks a Lead Kubernetes Architect to drive architecture, standards, and lifecycle strategy for enterprise Kubernetes platforms, with a focus on AKS and GKE. You will partner across Cloud Engineering, Security, Network, Platform, SRE, DevOps and application teams to define reference architectures and platform patterns enabling secure, scalable, and automated Kubernetes capabilities.

This hands-on leadership role requires mentoring engineers, shaping standards, and guiding Day 2 operations

Competenze

5+ years of software/cloud engineering experience.
Experience architecting Kubernetes platforms including AKS, GKE, and/or EKS.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code in major cloud providers.
Experience establishing a Kubernetes lifecycle support model, upgrades, and Day 2 operations.
Strong knowledge of networking, security controls, observability, and platform governance.

Mansioni

Lead architecture, design, and deployment of enterprise Kubernetes platforms across AKS and GKE.
Define reference architectures, standards, and reusable platform patterns for secure, scalable container hosting.
Develop and execute a Kubernetes product maturity roadmap aligned to Humana’s Cloud Platform strategy.
Drive multi-cluster, multi-region deployment models with high availability and DR considerations.
