Humana, Inc. is seeking a Lead Kubernetes Architect to drive enterprise Kubernetes platforms on AKS and GKE, shaping standards, security, performance, and scalable operations at scale.

You will mentor engineers, establish reference architectures, and partner with Cloud Engineering, Security, and SRE to enable Day 2 operations, automation, and cost efficiency across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering or platform engineering experience.
• Experience architecting Kubernetes platforms (AKS, GKE, EKS).
• Hands-on CI/CD and IaC in cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS).
• Experience leading Day 2 operations and capacity planning.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise Kubernetes platforms across AKS and GKE, from planning through production deployment and lifecycle management.
• Define and maintain Kubernetes reference architectures, design standards, and reusable platform patterns for secure, scalable hosting.
• Develop and execute a Kubernetes product maturity roadmap aligned to Humana’s Cloud Platform strategy.
• Design for multi-cluster, multi-region, highly available deployment models including failover and disaster recovery.
