Humana, Inc. is seeking a Lead Kubernetes Architect to guide architecture, engineering standards, and lifecycle strategy for enterprise Kubernetes platforms, focusing on AKS and GKE across cloud environments.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software/ platform / cloud engineering.
Experience architecting Kubernetes platforms across AKS, GKE, and EKS.
Hands-on CI/CD and IaC with Azure, GCP, or AWS.
Experience with Day 2 operations and enterprise-scale deployments.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise Kubernetes platforms across AKS and GKE from planning through deployment.
Define reference architectures, standards, and reusable patterns for secure, scalable hosting.
Develop and execute a Kubernetes product maturity roadmap aligned to Humana’s Cloud Platform strategy.
Design for multi-cluster, multi-region deployments with failover and DR considerations.
Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, and CI/CD for platform provisioning and workload enablement.
Mentor engineers and drive platform adoption at enterprise scale.
