Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Program Director to oversee a complex IT program from inception to completion. You will manage budgeting, scheduling, and performance, while guiding a cross-functional team and coordinating customer interactions.

The role is fully remote in the United States and requires the ability to obtain FEMA Public Trust clearance. You will lead proposals, staffing plans, and forecast financial performance, shaping strategic program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10-15 years of IT program management experience.
• 10+ years of experience managing complex IT programs.
• Must be able to attain FEMA Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
• Oversees cost, schedule and technical performance of programs.
• Participates in contract negotiations and changes.
• Coordinates proposals, business plans, budgets and specifications.
• Acts as primary customer contact and leads program reviews.
• Develops new business and expands product lines with customers.
• Monitors schedules, milestones, and staffing needs; resolves issues.
