Zusammenfassung

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to lead RMF activities across multiple environments. The role emphasizes A&A, documentation, and continuous monitoring for complex systems, including AI/ML platforms.

The position supports 100% remote work and requires mentoring junior ISSO staff while ensuring compliance with FISMA, NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5, CNSSI 1253, and OMB A-130. Strong experience with JCAM and Tenable SC is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Experience managing the full RMF lifecycle across multiple systems.
• Experience conducting A&A activities for complex environments.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5, CNSSI 1253, and related policies.
• Mentored junior ISSO staff and developed SOPs.

Aufgaben

• Support all phases of RMF lifecycle: categorization, control selection, implementation, assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring.
• Maintain SSPs, SARs, SAPs, POA&Ms, Contingency Plans, and Incident Response Plans.
• Conduct concurrent RMF assessments and document findings in JCAM.
• Assess and authorize emerging tech systems (AI/ML) with adapted control baselines.
• Manage evidence collection and BOE for audits and reviews.
• Develop security dashboards and metrics for stakeholders.
• Ensure FISMA, NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5, CNSSI 1253, OMB A-130 compliance.
• Oversee assessment workflows in JIRA and maintain status visibility.
• Mentor ISSO staff and improve SOPs and process docs.
