Job summary

Kin Insurance seeks a Senior Insurance Business Analyst to translate product decisions into systems with precise requirements across Insurance Product, Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance, Claims, Operations, and Engineering.

You will own the lifecycle for new products, state launches, and endorsements, and will drive UAT and validation to ensure correct deployment. The role blends product, operations, and technical delivery in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a business/systems analyst (P&C insurance preferred).
• Ability to translate insurance concepts into structured requirements for engineering.
• Experience producing user stories, flows, decision tables, and data mappings.

Responsibilities

• Own the requirements lifecycle for new products, state launches, endorsements, and rating updates.
• Translate business decisions into clear requirements and functional specs for Engineering.
• Lead stakeholder alignment and ensure traceability from decisions to deployment.
• Lead UAT planning, test scenarios, and product reviews to validate changes.
• Document current and future state processes and identify gaps and risks.
