Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, under supervision of a Manager, AE, or Producer. You will help ensure production and quality standards while safeguarding against errors and omissions.

You will independently resolve moderately complex customer service problems and assist with small-sized accounts or those with the least complex needs, driving service excellence and timely

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CISR preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• Support new and renewal business: research, submissions, coverages, pricing, proposals, binding.
• Assist in reviewing contracts for proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
