Job summary

White Oak Solutions is seeking a senior Infrastructure Architect to own end-to-end infrastructure solutions for clients, including pre-sales discovery, design, and implementation across Windows, VMware, and cloud platforms.

The role is billable with a strong sales-engineering component; you will lead engagements, mentor engineers, shape statements of work, and act as trusted advisor to client executives and technical staff, with travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in infrastructure engineering/architecture.
• Deep expertise with Microsoft infrastructure (Windows Server, AD, Entra ID).
• Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization platforms and cloud design.
• Experience leading pre-sales and delivery engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales discovery, design, and solution architecture for clients.
• Own end-to-end delivery: migrations, upgrades, virtualization, and cloud adoption.
• Provide technical leadership, runbooks, and client-ready artifacts.
• Mentor engineers and align engagements with managed services model.
