Job summary

BV Teck is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to design and govern cloud-native solutions across compute, networking, data, identity, and security on a major cloud platform. This remote role partners with stakeholders and engineering teams to translate objectives into scalable architectures.

The ideal candidate has breadth across cloud capabilities, depth in at least one provider, and the architectural judgment to balance time-to-market, cost, security, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Eight or more years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture roles.
• Deep expertise designing cloud-native solutions on at least one major cloud platform.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security primitives.
• Experience with cloud migration, modernization, and platform consolidation programs.
• Strong understanding of containerization, serverless, and managed data services.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience producing formal architecture artifacts and presenting them to senior leadership.
• Track record of leading architecture reviews and influencing engineering direction.
• Cloud architecture certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
