Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Senior Engineer to join the Workforce Identity team. You will architect, scale, and modernize secure identity systems for 50,000+ employees and contractors across a hybrid multi-cloud environment.

You will drive identity strategy, champion ZSP, and lead cross-domain authentication and federation programs, partnering with HR and IT to enable secure access while supporting rapid growth and M&A activity.

Qualifications

10+ years in Information Security and IAM, with at least 5+ years as lead architect.
Strong hands-on experience with enterprise IdPs (Microsoft Entra ID, Okta) and IGA (SailPoint).
Proven ability to drive multi-cloud IAM and cross-domain federation.
Experience leading identity migrations during M&A and divestitures.
Familiarity with SOX ITGC, HIPAA, GDPR controls and risk management.

Responsibilities

Define enterprise IAM standards and reference blueprints for SSO, IGA, and directory services.
Architect hybrid/multi-cloud IAM bridges linking on-prem AD/ADFS with cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure).
Lead IAM workstreams for M&A integrations and consolidations across domains.
Design cross-cloud federation, B2B frameworks, and tenant boundary governance.
Implement SSO, IGA, PAM, and birthright provisioning; align with SOX/HIPAA/GDPR requirements.
Collaborate with HR, IT, and security teams; communicate complex concepts to leadership.
