Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a seasoned Identity and Access Management (IAM) Senior Engineer to join the Workforce Identity team. You will architect, scale, and modernize systems securing 50,000+ employees, contractors, and critical operations across hybrid cloud environments, leading M&A integrations and Zero Standing Privilege initiatives.

You will define enterprise IAM standards, evaluate vendor engagements, and implement cross-cloud federation, SSO, and governance while aligning with SOX,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years in Information Security and Identity Management.
• 5+ years as Lead/Principal Enterprise IAM Architect in large enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise IAM standards for SSO, IGA, and directory services.
• Evaluate third-party integration patterns and vendor SoWs for complex migrations.
• Design hybrid/multi-cloud IAM bridges linking on-prem AD/ADFS with cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure/Entra ID).
• Architect ZSP and JIT access patterns using PAM and CIEM tooling.
• Lead discovery, migration, and consolidation across multiple identities and directories.
• Collaborate with HRMS integrations (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) for lifecycle provisioning.
