Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior HV Project Manager to lead the safe, on-time, on-budget delivery of utility-scale substations and transmission projects. This fully remote role requires coordinating with owners, EPC partners, and regulators to ensure compliance and performance.

The role oversees end-to-end project execution, mentoring engineers and project staff, and driving continuous improvement across engineering, procurement, and construction teams in a national scope.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of EPC utility scale experience in design and/or construction of utility-scale substations.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or PMP certification preferred; NFPA 70e compliance knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and prioritize problems independently.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching methods, techniques, and practices.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enforce adherence to company policies and safety rules.
• Ensure projects comply with NFPA 70E, OSHA, and regulatory requirements.
• Champion safety, quality, and accountability across project teams.
• Lead lessons-learned reviews and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of utility-scale substations, transmission, and distribution projects.
• Interface with utility owners, interconnecting utilities, EPC partners, and regulators.
• Provide strategic oversight for multiple HV projects and mentor junior staff.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations.
• Manage interconnection-related activities and P6 scheduling responsibilities.
• Oversee SCADA integration, protection & control scope, and telecoms integration.
