Job summary

Splitero is seeking a People Business Partner to serve as a strategic partner to people managers, guiding performance conversations, team dynamics, and day-to-day leadership challenges. You’ll own performance management end-to-end and lead compensation strategy in collaboration with finance, ensuring alignment with business goals.

You will address complex employee relations matters, conduct investigations as needed, and design manager training to prepare future leaders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of HR experience, with 3+ years in an HR Business Partner role.
• Experience owning compensation administration and evolving compensation strategy.
• Experience designing and evolving a performance management methodology.
• Experience managing employee relations and conducting workplace investigations independently.
• Based in San Diego, CA area; able to be in-person 2–4 days per month preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and influence people managers; proactive, reliable.

Responsibilities

• Act as strategic partner to people managers, coaching through performance conversations and team dynamics.
• Own performance management end-to-end and evolve review strategies and KPIs.
• Own and evolve compensation strategy, analyze market data, and partner with finance on plans.
• Identify and resolve workplace issues affecting engagement and productivity with data-driven recommendations.
• Deliver and evolve People Manager training and development programs.
• Contribute to policy/process improvements in People Operations.
• Serve as primary contact for employee relations and workplace investigations.
