Cengage, a global edtech leader, seeks a Business Product Owner to drive GTM strategy, design, and analytics for sales tools and processes. You will bridge business needs with tech, optimize Salesforce and Gong, and enable data-driven decisions to accelerate revenue growth.

Lead cross-functional initiatives, establish governance, and deliver measurable improvements in funnel conversion and sales cycle efficiency while collaborating with global Sales, Marketing Ops, and Revenue Ops teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Business Product Ownership, Revenue Operations, Business Analysis, or related roles.
• Deep experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce) and GTM tools (e.g., Gong, marketing automation platforms)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current sales tools and improve Salesforce effectiveness across regions.
• Own GTM systems (Salesforce, Gong) partnering with technical teams to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions.
• Lead optimization of the GTM tech stack for automation, usability, and global consistency.
• Define, track, and report on key funnel and sales performance metrics.
