Job summary

The University of Miami/UHealth department of Medicine is seeking a Full Time Sr. Sponsored Programs Specialist to work remote, coordinating administrative and financial functions for the assigned portfolio.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provides guidance to faculty and administrators in developing funding proposals.
  • Reviews grant applications to ensure accuracy.
  • Verifies regulatory approvals before establishing project accounts.
  • Maintains internal proposal documents and electronic records.
  • Coordinates post-award actions such as notices and amendments.
  • Assists in project closeout and budget revisions alignment.
  • Oversees audits and petty cash reconciliations.
  • Submits endorsed invoices to accounts payable and tracks timely payments.
