Job summary

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Medicine invites applications for a Full-Time Sr Manager, Sponsored Programs on the UHealth Campus. The role oversees a large grants and contracts portfolio, directing post-award activities, forecasting, and compliance for 20+ cost centers and 150 researchers.

Responsibilities include donor outreach, grant development, event planning, staff supervision, and liaison with multiple departments to ensure 100% regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations.
• Ability to establish department goals and objectives that support the strategic plan.
• Ability to plan, delegate and supervise the work of others.
• Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and train others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a large, complex grants and contracts portfolio with post-award management.
• Prepare financial projections and provide reports to PIs and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with federal guidelines and sponsor terms.
• Lead award lifecycle activities including closeout and monitoring.
• Coordinate pre- and post-award activities and audits readiness.
