Responsibilities

• Integrates grant requirements into the program and monitors processes; develops and maintains internal records and systems to support program management.
• Coordinates program budget development and facilitation with Mission Advancement and leadership teams to align with funder expectations and controls.
• Monitor budgets and expenditures; analyze financial activity and provide variance reporting, forecasting, and reconciliation guidance.
• Liaises with finance, legal, operations, development, advocacy, and business technology to ensure activities adhere to AHA policy.
• Develop and maintain internal systems, controls, and documentation to support audit readiness.
• Act as Voices technology coordinator to optimize systems and tools supporting grantmaking and reporting.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, external partners, and grantees for collaboration and outcomes.
• Lead or contribute to cross‑functional initiatives and project teams requiring coordination and change management.
• Contribute to operational planning for grant‑making through system improvements that reduce burden and increase transparency.
• Provide guidance and oversight to team members; may serve as team lead or player/coach.
