Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Sr. Grant Administrator to coordinate the strategic execution of a complex grant-funded department within the Voices for Healthy Kids team.

This home-based role involves translating programmatic goals into budgets and processes that ensure efficiency, accountability, and impact. You will monitor budgets, ensure timely grant deliverables, and collaborate across finance, legal, operations, and development to support end-to-end grant-making and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of meaningful experience.
• Proven skills in accounting, budgeting, and grant management.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Integrates grant requirements into programs and monitors processes. Maintains records and systems for program management.
• Coordinates program budget development with leadership teams and funders to ensure compliance.
• Monitors budgets and expenditures; provides variance reporting, forecasting, and reconciliation guidance.
