Job summary

Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a senior Program Manager to lead delivery and client engagement across strategic government contracts. You’ll ensure strong partnerships, staffing health, contract profitability, and risk mitigation while guiding a growing team of delivery leads.

Based in the United States with remote options for eligible states, you’ll-drive iterative delivery, leverage agile practices, and align programs with Nava’s public‑benefit mission and enterprise goals.

Qualifications

• Experience with Custom Software or Cloud infrastructure programs/projects.
• Ability to work east coast hours and travel to Richmond, VA as needed.
• Experience with state government agencies, contracting, and audit trails.
• Proven record leading large, agile development teams at scale.
• Ability to manage milestones, dependencies, and risk on complex programs.
• Familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, SAFe and CI/CD practices.
• Empathetic communicator and service-oriented team builder.
• Adaptable problem solving across multi‑dimensional challenges.
• Highly organized with a focus on sustainable, culture-conscious growth.
• Strategic delivery planning and contract management across multiple contracts.
• Iterative execution and rapid progress in complex environments.
• Broad situational awareness beyond the immediate team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery and client engagement for strategic government contracts.
• Cultivate client trust, manage staffing, and oversee contract profitability.
• Identify risks early and coordinate with delivery teams to resolve them.
• Engage clients regularly to understand vision and report progress transparently.
• Scale delivery by guiding project managers and other leads.
• Coordinate with finance for contract modifications and profitability.
• Uphold Nava policies and drive delivery excellence and client service.
