Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Procurement Administrator to support a Federal Government prime contract. This fully remote role within the United States focuses on sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in US Government procurement, deep FAR/DFAR knowledge, CPSR compliance, and strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 8+ years of experience or Master’s with 6+ years of experience.
• 8+ years of experience in US Government procurement.
• Excellent knowledge of the FAR/DFAR.
• Experience complying with CPSR policies and procedures.
• Experience in procuring materials with emphasis on negotiation and contractor/vendor performance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Prepare and participate in RFPs and bid packages.
• Source, negotiate, and purchase services, equipment and supplies.
• Monitor suppliers based on past performance and evaluation factors.
• Maintain detailed records of goods and services ordered and received.
