Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Procurement Administrator to support a large federal prime contract. This fully remote role in the United States requires strong sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management.

The candidate will oversee procurement actions, ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR and CPSR processes, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive cost-effective acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years or Master’s with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• 8+ years of experience in US Government procurement.
• Excellent knowledge of the FAR/DFAR.
• Experience complying with CPSR policies and procedures.
• Experience in negotiating, PO administration, and vendor performance management.
• Strong knowledge of federal procurements and negotiation techniques.
• Business acumen, management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a high pace environment.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships.
• Coordinate procurement activities with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Implement procurement policies to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Monitor price trends and identify opportunities for savings.
• Participate in preparation of RFPs and bid packages.
• Track deliverables and time deliveries; manage CPSR-related documentation.
• Process POs from Purchase Requisitions in Deltek Costpoint.
• Maintain detailed records of goods and services ordered and received.
