Sony Interactive Entertainment in the United States is seeking a Senior Game Engineer - Graphics to push visual quality and performance in Unreal Engine 5 for a multiplayer project.

You will collaborate with artists and engineers to build expressive rendering features, optimize pipelines, and ship production-grade gameplay systems. This role supports remote work with pay ranges aligned to geographic location.

Qualifications

• Strong, real-time rendering knowledge and modern graphics pipelines.
• Excellent C++ programming skills.
• Experience with Unreal Engine 5 rendering framework.
• Experience building designer- and artist-facing components and tools.
• Ability to work autonomously and drive technical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production-quality gameplay systems in C++ on Unreal 5.
• Own and evolve rendering systems including lighting, materials, particles, and post-processing.
• Collaborate with artists to prototype and implement stylized rendering features and VFX workflows.
• Optimize rendering performance across CPU, GPU, memory and platform constraints.
• Investigate and fix graphics, rendering, and visual pipeline issues.
