Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a Senior Manager on our fund administration team to work with leading private equity clients on fund operations, financial reporting, and investor communications. You will oversee deliverables, review complex fund calculations, manage audits, and mentor junior staff in a West Coast-based, fully remote role.

You bring 5+ years in private equity or related accounting, with a solid foundation in accounting, finance, and fund administration.

Qualifications

• Over five years of progressive experience in private equity, public accounting, or a mix of both within alternative asset firms.
• Strong analytical and technical accounting/finance skills.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional client service and manage complex fund operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead client relationships across multiple Private Equity funds, ensuring expectations and timelines are met.
• Apply understanding of limited partnership agreements to fund operations, reporting, and investor communications.
• Prepare and review journal entries, capital calls, distributions, and performance metrics such as IRR.
• Manage audits, tax requests, and financial statement reviews while driving continuous process improvements.
• Prioritize tasks, respond to client requests, and train junior team members to support the team.
