Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a Senior Manager on the fund administration team to support private equity clients in fund operations, financial reporting, and investor communications. You will oversee deliverables, review complex fund calculations, manage audits, and drive process improvements across engagements. This West Coast-based role can be fully remote.

You will lead relationships, apply LP agreement knowledge to operations, and mentor junior staff while delivering high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• Over five years of progressive experience in private equity, public accounting, or a mix within alternative asset firms.
• Strong analytical and technical skills in accounting, finance, and fund administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional client service and build trust.

Responsibilities

• Lead client relationships across multiple Private Equity funds, ensuring expectations are met and timelines are followed.
• Apply understanding of limited partnership agreements to fund operations, reporting, and investor communications.
• Prepare and review key financial components like journal entries, capital calls, distributions, and performance metrics such as IRR.
• Manage audits, tax requests, and financial statement reviews while continuously improving processes.
• Prioritize tasks, respond to client requests, and train junior team members to support team development.
