Ad Hoc LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack to design, build, and maintain scalable government-focused applications using Ruby on Rails and React.js. You will own features, craft robust APIs, and collaborate with product teams to translate needs into reliable software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with full-stack applications using RoR, React, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing, developing, integrating, and troubleshooting APIs, including government system integrations.
• Experience building and maintaining dashboards, monitors, and alerts with Datadog.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Ruby on Rails, React.js, PostgreSQL.
• Own features and components, ensuring code quality, reliability, and performance.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot RESTful APIs and integrations with internal and government systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Develop and maintain application monitoring, dashboards, and alerts.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools to improve efficiency while maintaining quality.
