Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong experience building and maintaining production software across frontend and backend.
Expert-level knowledge in at least one area (frontend, backend, architecture, APIs, databases, cloud, or DevOps).
Experience designing, developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining modern web applications and services.
Experience with APIs, databases, distributed systems, and integrations between applications or services.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and drive resolution.
Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other engineers.
Ability to evaluate technical tradeoffs and contribute to architecture and engineering decisions.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate strong technical ownership and accountability for your contributions to the codebase.
Design, build, test, maintain, and improve full-stack applications and services.
Coordinate integrations across the broader technical ecosystem with awareness of dependencies.
Diagnose and resolve complex issues; apply lessons to future improvements.
Evaluate approaches to technical and process challenges; support practical decisions.
Contribute to design and architecture discussions with engineers, clients, and stakeholders.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to grow skills.
Lead small projects or initiatives when needed.
Identify opportunities to improve software engineering processes and reliability.
Participate in technical interviews and evaluate candidates.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring code quality and security.
Stay current with evolving engineering and AI practices.
