Job summary

CapTech is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join our collaborative consulting team in Virginia. You will design, build, and integrate enterprise systems, APIs, and front-end components using modern frameworks and cloud platforms.

We value clear communication with clients and teammates, robust API design, scalable code, and mentoring less experienced developers as we deliver innovative solutions for government and industry.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in design, development, and maintenance on the Microsoft Stack or Java.
• Experience building RESTful APIs with Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Strong database design with SQL Server and NoSQL in cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Frontend experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (Angular/React/Vue).
• Experience with AI tools and orchestration is preferred.
• Proficient communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver a technical solution that meet the unique needs of our clients
• Create quality deliverables to communicate technical solutions to appropriate audiences
• Leverage CapTech’s internal programs and self-directed training to continually develop industry relevant knowledge and skills
• Understand and implement object-oriented design patterns
• Communicate effectively to team members with varying degrees of technical knowledge
• Provide technical mentoring
