Job summary

Trilogy Federal is seeking a Senior Accounting Associate for a fully remote opportunity with an existing federal customer. The role emphasizes federal accounting and financial audit, collaboration with the client and program team, and ownership of work deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in federal accounting or federal financial statement audit, strong communication skills, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required/strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of federal accounting or federal financial statement audit experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter who thrives in a high-ownership environment.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• CPA or CGFM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop documentation templates and protocols.
• Attend & document executive level meetings.
• Perform accounting research.
• Develop presentations for client management.
• Develop policy and procedure templates and repository.
• Develop new or update accounting policies, procedures and process maps.
• Perform walk-through interviews of process owners.
• Design financial management dashboard(s) - identify content and work with SMEs to develop.
• Design presentation templates and graphic design tools and guidance.
• Develop training.
