Job summary

Trilogy Federal is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Associate for a new opportunity with an existing federal customer. The role focuses on federal accounting, policy development, and financial reporting; the candidate will work closely with the client and program manager in a fully remote setting.

You will develop dashboards, templates, and presentations, perform accounting research, and document procedures while ensuring compliance with SFFAS and Treasury guidance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of federal accounting or federal financial statement audit experience.
  • CPA or CGFM is a plus
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a high-ownership environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop documentation templates and protocols.
  • Attend & document executive level meetings.
  • Perform accounting research.
  • Develop presentations for client management.
  • Develop policy and procedure templates and repository.
  • Develop new or update accounting policies, procedures and process maps.
  • Perform walk-through interviews of process owners.
  • Design financial management dashboard(s) – identifying content and working with SMEs to develop.
  • Design presentation templates and graphic design tools and guidance.
  • Develop training.
