Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a highly skilled security researcher to analyze in-the-wild exploits and contribute to threat intelligence. You will reverse engineer exploits, develop tools for automation, and produce actionable guidance for mitigation and detection.

The role emphasizes collaboration with CrowdStrike Intelligence and other teams to track adversaries and improve defenses. The position requires strong writing, experience with Python, and the ability to leverage AI-assisted approaches to

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques commonly seen in userspace/kernel exploits.
• Knowledge of network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of at least two operating systems, including Windows.
• Familiarity with standard web-based exploitation vectors.
• Collaborative mindset and team player.
• Proficiency with reverse engineering tools and processes (unpacking malware, reconstructing code).
• Knowledge of Python programming and scripting.
• Ability to leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate vulnerability research and validate findings.
• Proven experience using AI to enhance decision-making and workflows.
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly in writing and graphics.
• Excellent writing skills are mandatory.
