Job summary

Metropolis is seeking a Senior Manager, Event Operations to oversee daily planning and execution of large-scale events. You will lead teams, manage budgets, ensure client satisfaction, and integrate AI-driven tools across operations.

The role requires a 4-year degree or 3–5 years of event management, ability to travel internationally, and a remote-first setup with frequent on-site coordination and reporting.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or 3–5 years of event management experience.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and international travel ability.
• Experience with budgets and multiple computer applications.
• Remote position with strong self-management and urgency.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational planning and delivery for GAMEDAY projects.
• Define scope, timeline, deliverables and project budget with clients.
• Prepare operating procedures and training for staff.
• Ensure client communication and satisfaction throughout projects.
• Manage budgets, accounts receivable, and payroll submissions.
• Coordinate staffing, shift times and paperwork pre/post events.
