Job summary

Progressive seeks an experienced Event Planning Manager on the Agency Marketing team. You will coordinate annual event strategy, oversee planning processes, and deliver large-scale events and special projects. You’ll lead a team, manage vendors, and ensure timelines and budgets are met while optimizing processes.

The role is remote with frequent overnight travel (1-2 times per month) and candidates must reside in the Eastern or Central Time Zone.

Qualifications

• A minimum of ten years marketing, event planning, communications, or project management experience with at least two years leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field plus 7+ years in marketing/event planning/PM with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the annual event planning strategy, planning process, and delivery.
• Lead a team and manage vendors from initial planning through post-event evaluation.
