Job summary

Degy Entertainment is hiring a Major Events Operations Manager to oversee live event logistics for a diverse portfolio including colleges, universities, PACs, and other market accounts. The role reports to the Director of Major Event Operations and operates primarily remotely, handling client relationships and strategic event planning from inception to execution.

The position requires at least two years in live entertainment logistics, strong communication, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years professional experience with live entertainment management.
• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support major events and logistics for college, university, PAC clients and other accounts.
• Translate bookings into executable event plans and manage client relationships.
• Coordinate vendor logistics (production, staging, catering, staffing, power) and ensure compliance and on-site needs.
• Develop and publish RFPs/RFQs and review contracts across a diverse client portfolio.
• Travel for on-site support, attend meetings, and participate in standard operating procedure development.
