Job summary

UW Medicine IT Services is seeking a Senior Cogito Developer 3 (Clinical / Beaker-AP) to design, develop, and deliver data solutions across clinical analytics platforms.

The role focuses on Epic Cogito reporting tools, Beaker-AP integration, and collaboration with clinicians, informatics, and Epic teams to ensure accurate, timely insights for finance, operations, and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ Epic certifications or proven Epic proficiency with 3+ years in relevant area.
• Epic Cogito Fundamentals and Cogito Tools Administration certifications required.
• Beaker-AP experience desired.
• 4+ years healthcare IT experience, 3+ years BI reporting and Epic Cogito reporting tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify business and technical impacts of user requirements and articulates to all constituents.
• Assume responsibility for the quality and delivery of technology business solutions.
• Create ad hoc and ongoing reports and other data outputs to support the clinical and business needs for the enterprise.
• Analytics is a key support function as UW Medicine transitions towards value Based health care.
• Collaborating with Analytics leadership to help set direction, standards, process for a team of Cogito and BI Developers.
• Gathers, analyzes, and documents reporting requirements with various stakeholders.
