Job summary

UW Medicine IT Services is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Developer 3 (Clinical / Pharmacy) to design, implement and maintain BI solutions using Epic Cogito and Willow. You will work with clinical informatics and IT teams to deliver robust reporting across finance, operations and clinical analytics.

The role requires Epic certifications, 4+ years healthcare IT, and strong SQL skills. It offers a 100% remote schedule, strong vacation/sick time benefits, and a 403(b) plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Information Systems, Math, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent).
• Epic certification in Clinical Data Model and Cogito Fundamentals
• Experience with Epic Willow reporting; Cogito tools
• 4+ years healthcare/IT; 3+ years BI reporting tools; 3+ years SQL and data warehouse design

Responsibilities

• Identify business and technical impacts of user requirements; communicate to stakeholders.
• Deliver quality technology solutions and reports; maintain BI objects.
• Collaborate with analytics and clinical teams to gather reporting requirements.
• Provide production support and mentoring to other developers.
