Lumen, the trusted network for the AI‑powered world, seeks a Senior Commercial Lead to own growth across large, enterprise accounts by translating customer priorities into measurable outcomes enabled by our network, cloud, security, and orchestration portfolio.

You’ll operate independently from acquisition through modernization and expansion, set account strategy, negotiate commercial terms, mobilize cross‑functional resources, and advise executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise sales experience.
• Proven track record closing multi‑million deals.
• Ability to shape account strategy independently.
• Strong executive engagement across buyers.
• Technical fluency to discuss networking/cloud/security.
• Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Understanding recurring revenue and consumption models.
• Experience using AI/automation to improve sales.
• Executive presence and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute a self‑directed strategy for large or global accounts grounded in business priorities.
• Anticipate needs; develop views and use cases connecting modernization to growth and resilience.
• Build qualified pipeline through executive relationships, partners, and marketing.
• Prioritize investments and resources based on potential and signals.
• Lead discovery across stakeholders to define the problem and value at stake.
• Integrate capabilities across Lumen and partners with clear objectives.
• Build quantified business cases covering value, investment, and risks.
• Develop understanding of business, market, and solution tradeoffs with executives.
• Own new‑logo acquisition and expansion against sales goals.
• Lead complex sales cycles including pricing, procurement, and close.
