Job summary

Knowmadics is seeking a senior engineering leader responsible for people leadership, organizational design, and delivery discipline across the Advanced Technologies software engineering group. You will manage six to ten senior engineers or leads, with accountability for an organization of 20–25 people including individual contributors.

Scope includes architectures, security, DevSecOps, and reliable production delivery.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive software engineering experience delivering production systems, including 5+ years in formal people management or engineering leadership.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a computing field.
Experience leading multiple teams or an engineering organization of 15+ people with direct and indirect reports.
Strong judgment across distributed systems, APIs, data flows, containers, cloud/edge deployment, CI/CD, and secure software delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop senior engineers, engineering leads, and contributors through coaching, performance reviews, and succession planning.
Design reporting lines, team structures, and workforce planning; allocate capacity across product and research efforts.
Own Jira execution model, backlogs, dependencies, and credible delivery forecasts; ensure healthy backlog quality.
Stay close to architecture, code, incidents, and technical planning; support architecture and security discussions with senior engineers.
