Job summary

GR8_TECH is seeking an experienced Engineering Delivery Manager to lead a software team. You will own delivery timelines, manage end-to-end initiatives, and partner with heads of stream, tech leads, and product managers to align priorities and standards.

You will drive process improvements, ensure quality, and lead a team through hiring, performance cycles, and development plans. A strong emphasis on data-driven decisions, stakeholder collaboration, and capacity planning is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in engineering delivery management with software team leadership.
• Experience delivering in a product or platform environment.
• Understanding of team-level resource planning and capacity management.
• Familiarity with engineering practices, CI/CD, and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to work with data and metrics to drive decisions and improve performance.
• Strong stakeholder management across product, engineering, and delivery teams.
• English language proficiency at B2+ level.
• Ukrainian or Russian language proficiency at B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Own predictable, on-time delivery within the team, balancing speed, quality, and sustainability.
• Track delivery progress and manage end-to-end initiatives, addressing risks and dependencies.
• Partner with Head of stream, Tech Lead, and Product Managers to align priorities and standards.
• Provide regular visibility into team progress, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve delivery processes, reduce friction, and adopt stream-level processes.
• Own deliverable quality for reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Directly manage team members, conduct 1:1s, set goals, and execute PDPs.
• Drive team engagement, psychological safety, collaboration, and onboarding.
• Participate in hiring by defining needs and giving recommendations.
• Optimize capacity, workload distribution, and on-call rotations to maximize throughput.
• Flag resource gaps to Head of stream.
