Job summary

One Call seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead multiple engineering teams in delivering scalable, secure software aligned with our mission. You will provide technical direction, drive execution, and foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement across distributed teams.

You will span one to two product areas, directly overseeing 10-15 engineers and collaborating with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate vision into actionable roadmaps and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience across multiple teams.
• Proven experience leading in cloud-native environments (SOC2/HIPAA experience a plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering teams delivering scalable, secure software.
• Drive adoption of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD and test automation.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Architecture to define roadmaps with speed and quality.
• Ensure teams align with business outcomes and measure KPIs such as velocity and impact.
• Build a high-talent culture with coaching, performance management and career growth.
• Champion code quality, observability, and continuous improvement.
• Manage offshore teams and ensure alignment with standards and delivery goals.
• Own the operational health of applications including uptime and incident response.
• Drive platform modernization, debt reduction, and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and business units to solve cross-functional challenges.
• Oversee resource allocation and capacity planning.
