Job summary
One Call is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead distributed teams delivering scalable, secure software. You will set technical direction, mentor engineers, and drive roadmap execution with product and design partners.
This remote role spans one to two product areas, overseeing 10–15 engineers while championing DevOps, cloud-native architectures, and agile practices to ensure high-quality outcomes for our customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of engineering leadership experience.
- Proven experience leading multiple teams and product areas.
- Experience with cloud-native environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Experience delivering enterprise software in SOC2/HIPAA regulated environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple engineering teams in delivering scalable, secure software products.
- Drive adoption of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD and test automation.
- Partner with Product, Design, and Architecture to define roadmaps.
- Ensure teams align with business outcomes and KPIs.
- Build a high-talent culture through hiring, coaching, and performance management.
- Own operational health of applications including uptime and incident response.
- Manage offshore teams and ensure delivery against standards.
