Energy Sciences is seeking an experienced energy engineer to support commercial and industrial clients by delivering energy assessments, system optimization, and decarbonization strategies. You will provide technical expertise through energy efficiency programs, training initiatives, and direct-to-customer consulting services.

The role involves site surveys, economic analyses, and preparing reports while mentoring team members and traveling up to 25% to client sites in the Philadelphia area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or closely related discipline.
• Minimum of four (4) years of professional experience with energy engineering, energy consulting, or building system performance.
• Experience conducting energy assessments, facility evaluations, and system investigations in commercial/industrial facilities.
• Ability to identify, quantify, and prioritize energy efficiency and decarbonization opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and quantify energy efficiency opportunities and economic savings.
• Perform energy assessments, analyses, and system investigations.
• Review assessments, opportunities and calculations with clients.
• Collaborate with customers, answer technical questions, and develop projects.
• Prepare professional reports and deliver presentations.
