Job summary
Energy Sciences is looking for a Senior Engineer to help commercial and industrial clients reduce energy use and improve system performance. You will provide technical expertise through energy efficiency programs, trainings, and direct-to-customer consulting services.
The role involves identifying opportunities, performing analyses, and presenting findings on-site at client facilities. Candidates with strong knowledge of HVAC, lighting, and building systems, plus ASHRAE auditing experience, will
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or closely related discipline with 7+ years of experience.
- Non-degreed candidates with 10+ years of relevant experience will be considered.
- 5+ years in energy engineering, consulting or building systems performance.
Responsibilities
- Identify and quantify energy efficiency opportunities.
- Perform energy and economic analyses.
- Review assessments, opportunities and calculations.
- Collaborate with customers and develop projects.
- Prepare reports and deliver presentations.
- Conduct site surveys and facilities assessments.
- Mentor team members and support utility programs.
- Travel to customer sites up to 25%.
