Job summary

Energy Sciences seeks a seasoned energy engineer to join our team, delivering energy efficiency projects for commercial and industrial clients. The role combines field assessments, engineering analyses, and customer-facing project development.

The successful candidate will conduct site surveys, prepare reports, and collaborate with teams to identify opportunities, quantify savings, and support decarbonization initiatives. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Non-degreed professionals may be considered with a minimum of five years of energy assessments and commissioning/retro-commissioning experience.
• CEM, CEA, CMVP, EBCP, and PE certification.

Responsibilities

• Identify and quantify energy efficiency opportunities.
• Perform energy and economic analyses.
• Review energy assessments, opportunities, and calculations.
• Collaborate with customers, assisting with technical questions, and developing projects.
• Prepare reports and deliver presentations.
• Conduct site surveys and facilities assessments.
• Collaborate with other technical team members to teach and learn energy engineering fundamentals.
• Support customers with utility energy efficiency programs.
• Travel up to 25%.
