SKYGEN is hiring a senior software engineer to design, develop and maintain healthcare software systems in a remote, full-time role. You will work within an Agile team on HIPAA EDI–related transactions and data streaming technologies, contributing to AI-enabled workflows and secure coding practices.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal teams, understanding complex technical specifications, and delivering high-quality production-grade software across varied stacks.

Qualifikationen

• Five to seven years of professional work experience in software engineering.
• Strong knowledge of software design and development techniques.
• Proficiency in C#, NET Core, REST APIs and front-end frameworks (React/Angular).
• Experience with data streaming technologies (Kafka/Redpanda) and SQL Server/SSIS.
• Familiarity with HIPAA/EDI or healthcare data workflows is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop and maintain software applications across diverse tech stacks.
• Participate in an Agile scrum team, sizing work and delivering iteratively.
• Collaborate to understand technical specs and business requirements for new systems (data streaming, AI, regulatory).
• Develop and maintain production modules, unit tests and processes.
• Triage production issues and conduct impact analysis for changes.
• Act as SME for subsystems or client communications when needed.
• Assist in estimates, timelines and secure coding practices.
